Student Oboe Reed

Long Scrape Oboe Reed made with all the same materials as the professional model reed, but modified for intermediate level players and people who like a lighter reed.  There is less substance in the heart to accommodate lighter embouchures and the spine is thinner to create a smaller opening.  This is still a completely handmade reed.  This reed is not suggested for beginners just forming an embouchure.  If you need a reed for a true beginner, let me know in the comments section on the shopping cart page when you order and I'll make a reed that will work at that level.  Pitch is A440.
